What is a "Direct Repair Program"?
A "Direct Repair Program" is an agreement between the insurance company
and a collision repair shop that lets the insurance company control
most of the costs associated with your repair. These shops are chosen
based on the level of "kickbacks" they are willing to provide the insurance
company. These "kickbacks" include overlooking hidden damage, using counterfeit
replacement parts, and using discounted parts needed for repairs. By agreeing
to be a DRP shop, the shop will gain additional work from the insurance company
for the inconvenience. Making you the victim of a "Direct Repair" scheme! More info...
